Anyone ever had migraines? Out of nowhere had them this week. First time it happened I thought I was going blind because there was a big hole in my vision and I was almost hallucinating. Fucking hell.
Drink all the water you possibly can and sit down and relax if possible. I got one while driving, terrifying stuff
First things first. Cut down on checking the Gnabry thread every half and hour will help, you absolute wand.

Yeh, Iâve had about 3 or 4 in my life. I go practically blind in one eye too, definitely a point during them where I consider euthanasia. Relaxing during a migraine just isnât an option lol. Med up and try to go to sleep in a very darkened room. Like literally pitch dark.
Yeah, I wouldnât be surprised if the issue is directly linked to strain on the eye. The only sure fire way out is first painkillers and then the complete removal of all stress towards the effected side. So stay in a room with as little light as possible and go into a state of total rest, relaxation or sleep. Migraines are a shut down of almost all activity until the painkillers finally eliminate the surging headaches and the affected area is sufficiently rested after a prolonged period of zero usage.
Makes sense, this is my first year working solely as a translator, in front of a computer screen 95% of the time working, so itâs probably from that.
Had me freaked out cause Iâd never experienced one before and I was worried I was getting ill again.

Go to the docs and get the right drugs mate. Migraines are no longer considered just a bad headache and thereâs some decent medication out there now which isnât just painkillers.
Mrs.TheGod has mad migraines all her life then the doctor gave her Sumatriptan. If she catches it early enough she describes the feeling of a sort of pop and the pain just disappears.
Interesting, will have to check it out in the pharmacy this afternoon, always glad to take a drug that just cuts the thing off at the root
