2017 FIFA Confederations Cup

#1

The 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup will be the 10th FIFA Confederations Cup, a quadrennial international men’s football tournament organised by FIFA. It will be held in Russia, from 17 June to 2 July 2017, as a prelude to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Group A: Russia, New Zealand, Portugal, Mexico.

Group B: Cameroon, Chile, Germany, Australia.

First match, Russia v New Zealand, will be played on 17 June 2017 at Krestovsky Stadium, Saint Petersburg.

Thats a rather dull line up this time. Russia dont seem to have any real potential to suggest they will do anything in the world cup.

#3

Fucking Germany resting players and still having a scary team.

#4

Alexis to still play as Arsenal player? :giroud:

#5

Sadly I won’t be seeing Alexis in Sydney as even if he is still an Arsenal player he will be at this event.

#6

Russia should be 3-0 up by now against New Zealand.

#7

I’m watching Golovin. 30 minutes aren’t enough to judge a player, but Golovin looks very talented. He reminds me to a young Marek Hamsik.

#8

Finally Russia scores.
New Zealand=crap.
Deserved lead for Russia at HT.

#9

USA USA USA! Fuuuuuuuuuuccccckkkkkkj

#10

Portugal-Mexico now.
Messico doing well atm.
Portugal parking the bus again like they did at the European Championship.
Does Portugal think to spend the whole game defending in their own box?
Finally a shot on target for Portugal. Quaresma wide.

#11

VAR in use. Scenes!

Goal correctly ruled out. Get this in the PL!!

#12

The right decision.

Nice ball in by Vela, but no one could connect to it.
The game is heating up, as Portugal has woken up.
Vela with a good free kick wide.
Mexico does always play well. They just lack a proper striker upfront.
1-0 Quaresma. Great assist by CR7.

#13

Ronaldo

#14

Commentator on my stream goes wild for a weak header :arteta:
Quaresma should have shot immediately here.
1-1! Hernandez! Commentator just jinxed in his pants!
OMG Chicharito! What a miss!

#15

Vela’s been very good.

He still play for Socidad?

#16

Yep.

#17

1-1 HT. The game started slowly, than became very interesting.

#18

This second half has started like the first: Mexico attacking, Portugal defending.
No Bernardo Silva on?
Despite playing Moutinho, Portugal can’t string 2 passes together.
Santos clearly drawing his way to the final again.
Mexico should have done better here.
Silva on, but it’s Andre!
What a save! Milan fans have just seen something good from Andrè Silva with this header.
Cedric deflected. 2-1 Portugal.
Would have deserved the goal here. Portugal close to the 3-1.
2-2! Deserved!
2-2 FT.

#19

Alexis plays in an hour.
Sanchez on the bench! Fuck off!

#20

I hate Mexico for scoring, I had money on Portugal to win and both teams to score
