Work rate, end product and should have scored a couple if our other forwards weren’t selfish in final third. One of his best games for a long time. Credit where credit is due!
Played well by imposing our own game from the start. Helped big time by Watfords standing off our passing and movement killed them.
Second half was an anxious watch when they really done nothing much but rolled their sleeves up and had a go.
Anyway lets leave any agendas for other threads and enjoy a week off.
Im still not feeling up for football at the moment for whatever reason.
Was very reminiscent of the Liverpool game, with the only difference being Watford didn’t have the firepower to punish us for our second half performance.
So a good win, but still scary how quick we lose our composure and invite pressure onto ourselves. We’re pretty fortunate it was Watford we were playing.
We won which was nice but the self destruct button that we have , came close to getting pushed.
I seriously wonder what he says to them at half time to make them go to pieces like that. We should practice how to kill the game off. Their goal was a comedy catalogue of errors . I actually fell aslep for 20 mins in the 2nd half seems they did too.

Quite true sadly. At least there’s some things to get excited about Arsenal again though. Before the recent signings it was just pure futility watching us and a bit of a waste of a Saturday afternoon. Rather compete within the top four in this new and improved Premier League than be miles off it, and we’ve given ourselves a good chance to stay afloat there at least. Quite unrealistic to look forward to much more than that though. Who knows how close we could have come to the title had we invested like this a year ago.
