With 3 teams 30 points + after 13 games ( If Chelsea vs Tottenham remains as is) this season is looking more like the 85-89 points required to be Champions showing last season was just a rare anomaly.

Its sad to see Chelsea playing so well with Conte and Liverpool so well under Klopp. Both are benefiting from not having European football but neither really has that much talent. Look at Chelsea’s team beyond the front line - Moses was hardly playing for Stoke and West Ham the last two years, Alonso is a journeyman footballer, Matic and Azpilicueta are very useful cogs but nothing special, Cahill is a mediocre CB for a top club, etc. But put together in the right system they are beating everybody and doing it with style. They just show how good managers with fresh ideas can get a lot out of players, making the whole greater than the sum of the parts. Arsenal feels so stale in comparison.

Spot on Chelsea’s squad is about on par with Arsenal’s and Liverpool’s is Worse, but hey we should be careful what we wish for in regards to Wenger leaving lol.
