The 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification

Syria vs Australia in Malaysia 1st leg tonight, also some big South American qualifiers for Chile and Argentina.

Big game for us tonight. Slovakia at home and if we win we’re up to 2nd.

Scotland usually fuck up when a big game happens :joy: but I believe! 2-1 win

Montenegro-Denmark is also “make or break” game @Cristo

I know, I’m crapping myself!!!

I’m disappointed that @Luca_from_Italy hasn’t reported Australia have the all important neutral goal in the 1st leg vs Syria, he seems to be on the ball for every other uninspiring match between shit kickers.

What a chance for Slovenia! England terrible at the back again!

He’s so good.

Just some sarcasm regarding the fact the Syrian home leg was played in Malaysia.

5-0 Norway.
Joe “safe hands” Hart.

In reality, what is the solution with England?

Say you became the decision maker at the very top, how do we transition from where we are now, to an 11 as accomplished and as proficient as say, Germany? or France?

Don’t think it’s possible, just don’t have the quality in midfield. No idea what we do about that, feel like we’re always really strong in one area and weak in another.

Do feel like we should follow the trend in the PL right now and switch to a 3-4-3 type shape, we’ve got a pretty good group of young CBs at the moment and nearly all of them are capable passers of the ball. Get the most out of the offensive talent we’ve got at fullback/wingback with the likes of Walker, Bertrand, Rose, Ox () and soon Sessegnon.

Make sure we’ve got at least one guy like Lallana or Redmond in the 11 that is a good link player in the final third with Kane & Alli as our ‘strikers’.
