Other Clubs' Transfers

Bas Dost the striker?!

Why the fuck are they signing him :joy:

But but why? They dont need another loaf to hoof it to. Lukaku and Fellaini is more than enuf :mustafi:

The thing is Liverpool’s spending is probably done. I doubt United and Chelsea are done though

Brilliant selling of players at optimum values has allowed them to do this, brilliant work by Liverpool.

Moley thinks we are gonna get a winger. Obviously he’s banging the Dembele drum but we’ve also been linked with Coman as well.

It would be interesting to see what the net spend of those clubs is.

If Liverpool can sell top players like Suarez, Sterling, Benteke, Sakho, Courtinho, etc, 300m and then reinvest even better players, it just shows they are better in the transfer market than clubs like us.

It also shows that clubs like Man U and Man City can afford to waste money by getting rid of very expensive players that don’t work out and then just buy some more.

That list is very misleading.
They should show a list of players that clubs buy and then have to sell on the cheap because they’re not good enough.

That list is misleading because it is half way through a window and counting one major signing of one club. It doesn’t count the 200m United are probably going to spend in the next 3 weeks.

It doesn’t include the £100m we’re going to spend on a marquee signing either

It’s since Klopp was manager of Liverpool

Yeah but the window isn’t finished and United/Chelsea still haven’t got going this window and are likely going to spend in excess of £150m on players. Whereas Liverpool are likely doing for the summer.

Would love Zaha here.

One thing FSG have found out is you cant cheat the system. Tried the legend route with Dalglish with limited rewards.
Tried the rookie aproach with Rodgers and moneyball signings and got so far. Then eventually realised a top coach with top signings is the only way to compete.
Hopefully our transition follows a similar path over the next few seasons with the necessary adjustments made as needed.

Surely they’ll go back for Fekir, or get another similar player?

Thanks god. Don’t want him here.

Sterling havin a shite World Cup ! What a fukin suprise

He’s not worth that money. He does well at City because he has clinical finishers around him. He best attributes are his pace and runs that stretch defenses. He can create space for others. But no way you pay 250k a week to someone who can’t finish.
