Im not sold on Butland. Comes across as nervous and has poor distribution. Has looked awful on the international stage.

I honestly think this has something to do with how good English keepers were for so long. Banks, Shilton and Seaman. All world class goalkeepers of their day so the position was filled by someone of that ilk for 40 years or so and people just kind of feel that the England number 1 (or in the mix to be) means more than it does.
Even James who followed Seaman was just a notch below that level too.
think Butland is the best current English keeper, as it looks like Chesney is off then I would love Butland at Arsenal
