Just tuned into the game now. Mustafi on bench?
yep
Weāre not the only club struggling to sign a CB.
Chelsea given up on Koulibaly, now pursuing Romagnoli.
There hasnāt been much movement of CBās this window at all really when you look at completed transfers. Hummels & Stones the two high profile transfers, Bailly, Bartra & Umtiti too. Ashley Williams at Ā£12m the 5th most expensive CB to move so far.
Dick Law is a unicorn.
Mustafi is on at HT
plus Benatia, Bruma, Glik and NāKoulou.
Especially with a defense like this, Valencia will not sell the german for less than the fee of the release clause.
@A.F. UDLP and Quique SetiƩn winning hipster hearts everywhere
Honestly though, SetiƩn is one to watch.
Though Kevin Prince Boateng has got to be one of the weirdest signings of the summer. Just does not seem a good fit for Las Palmas. And on basis of what Iām seeing right nowā¦ Apparently UDLPās president is a bit of a small-time mafioso type (read: very small-time Florentino) so it was probably made on suspect reasons, maybe without SetiĆ©nās wanting.
Ćlvaro MedrĆ”n is a good footballer, hadnāt realised that he signed for Valencia this summer. Wouldnāt be surprised to see him end up at a bigger club later in his career.
Maybe he just warm up for the next Arsenal game???
One thing is sure: Mustafi is a fucking fighter. We need a defender like him.
Everything in this game for him: great passes, shit passes, English grit, getting the captainās armband, the fans singing his name, bad timing for the tackle.
think we can say this one is over.
Wow, Arsene played a great game of poker with this target. SMH. Love the man but heās really getting on my nerves.
The one great thing about bieng on holiday is not giving a shit about the transfer action or rather lack of it.
Iāll wait for deadline day (I canāt wait).
Letās see. But one thing is clear: we canāt get him for 25 mil.
In truth, none of us has any idea what is going onā¦i doubt Arsene and Gazidis do either!
Donāt think itās over. It will be a deadline day thing.
I recall a manager saying Fabregas and Nasri were not for sale.
