This game was a bit unusual.
We have won away from home and played well.
We won wearing our blue away kit.
We won with Chambers playing at RB and we kept a clean sheet.

AC Milan are absolutely piss poor.
First half our midfield was superb. The best that midfield has performed in a long time. Missed seeing us pass the ball like that. Our only weaknesses were at the back.
Second half our defence was solid apart from some awkward passes.
Overall a top night’s work.

Milan were awful (for some reason) and Arsenal capitalised. Great stuff, really needed that. Not the time to get sarcy about what it means for Wenger’s longer term future, just good to see the team motivated and playing well

All this game needed was us to take it seriously, I said right when the draw was made that Milan are no good.
We played the majority of the game with 10 men and was never in real danger, 2nd leg should be easier as long as he don’t slack off.
