Yet again since RVP has left, which WC strikers have moved from their respective clubs? NONE apart from Ibra, but look at Manu they have all the money etc in the world but they are reduced to buying stop gaps RVP with injuries and age etc was close to the end of his career as regards EPL couldnt cope so well with the pace and demands and Ibra they might get 2-3 years out of him but there is no truly young WC strikers out there that are willing to leave their clubs.

I wrote off Rooney yes and I’ve done so for nearly three years now and still proving correct on that one. We have out scored them in previous seasons, but our midfield includes Ozil, Sanchez and Cazorla, so imagine how many more Man U would have scored with their strikers playing in front of those players, or how many we would have scored with a top quality striker.

As I said about Feyenoord, Mourinho has no interest in that competition, so if we go in a lesser competition, like the League Cup, it doesn’t bother me if we field a weakened team and lose.

I would confidetly suggest Costa, Martial and Lukaku arent world class though. Though I guess it all boils down to opinion. Falcao however, was world class at one time, but absolutely lost that status.

Of course every team needs a quality midfield, no matter how good the strikers are.
It’s no good having great strikers if your midfield doesn’t match that quality.

It depends what your definition of world class is but unless I’m missing something glaringly obvious with the exception of Benzema and Aguero the listed strikers have been the best in the world for the past four years and the best you can buy. So the assertion that no big strikers move clubs since RVP left is wrong. They almost all have.

[/quote]The reason I think Rooney and Rashford would get in our first team, is because they are more dynamic than Giroud, even considering Rooney’s drop in form.
Rashford for me is the best young striker in the PL.
Martial is slightly different, as he is not a main striker but i would still have him here.

I just think it’s odd that Man U have four or five attacking players that are top quality and we barely have one.

I agree about buying players like Batshuayi and loaning them out, although he is another player that we could have in our first team that would do well with our midfield.

I have said regularly that we have one of the best midfields in Europe, and that Ozil, Sanchez and Cazorla deserve a better striker, so I would have thought that it was obvious I was talking about strikers, especially after listing so many from other clubs.
