Seems like, defensively at least, Favre is doing what he did at Gladbach. They’re extremely solid despite allowing lots of shots. They’ve got best defensive record in the Ligue 1 (and Gladbach were the second best in the Bundesliga in 14-15) despite conceding 13 shots per game. Only Dijon and Metz have conceded more.
With the majority of the top teams pressing like mad, this does make for a nice change. 
Can Nice keep it up? Only Monaco seem to be a real threat.
Monaco have a GD of +37 which is really astonishing after 17 games, especially for a team that isn’t Title favourites or anything.
