In my opinion, because Wneger is under pressure from the fans, and heâs got to do something about it. And unfortunately, it is what it is, world class players cost that much nowadays. Just put Theo or Ox in the market and theyâll get at least 20m. If we signed Draxler we donât need one of them, sell Theo. Just then the net pay for Draxler will be more reasonable.

If Pep and City are willing to spend a fortune on Sane, Draxler wonât be a bad purchase by any mean.
Thatâs as much information as I could have given you too as both clubs have been linked with him for a couple of seasons now. Hardly anything more than speculation.
If we could get Draxler plus another attacker (and sell Theo to make up some of the cost), that would be fantastic. If Draxler was the only attacker we added, Iâd see that as a pretty big let down - he has bright future but wouldnât help us this year nearly as much as Mahrez, Lacazette, or Icardi IMO.

Getting Draxler (only) is not a let down, the real let down is the club wasting so much time (again) and not able to locate a realistic target, making some realistic bids when the potential targets are getting off the shopping list one after another.
Draxler, Mahrez or Lacazette alone could upgrade our team immediately, but just one we canât say it is enough. Should be able to lock up top 4 but donât think it is enough to make a real challenge.
