Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

got us a point. Impact sub.

Sure, but youā€™re going from 3rd world problems to 1st world problems.

First have a competent central midfield. Then you can worry about the 4th of your forwards (Ɩzil, Iwobi, SĆ”nchez stacks up pretty well tbhā€¦) being as good as the options at Real Madrid or Bayern etc.

Iwobi is slightly overrated at this point in his career imo.

I think both problems are intertwined. The midfield will look more competent with better players upfront.

But other than that we do need another Cazorla, because of age and injury related stuff.

So glad Ox didnā€™t put in one of his crosses overcooked by 20 yards when he beat his man on this particular occasion.

Ok today he was subbed into a right back position. Can he be moved to an attacking right back? He doesnā€™t have the decision making for but get him to interchange, stay wide and cross and heā€™d be very effective going forward. Obviously the defensive side of his game would be a big issue as would his workrate.

Or was it a case of us moving to a 3-4-3 at the end?

Might not be a bad idea. Valencia and Young made the move and they havenā€™t been terrible.

This guy is the most old school footballer in the whole squad. Heā€™s good at the old school kick and rush and chip a decent cross in style. Like what was said earlier, it was an Antonio Valencia kind of scrappy, uninspiring game. He was perfect for a game like yesterday as was Giroud. This is why the English who are about 100 years behind on their football IQ rate shit players like the Ox so much.

The problem with our passing game is that if we have anything below the first XI, it just will not work without all our best players being available. Like against Chelsea.

If our manager had any eye for changing his short term strategy up, we may have adopted a more old school approach of late and played to the strengths of Ramsey, Ox and Giroud as sad as that sounds. We would get better results in the mean time. To be honest they can all do decent jobs in the right system so why not adapt until everyoneā€™s back instead of doing the same thing that has failed over and over again? Fucking Arsene Wenger.

You canā€™t play the same way all season unless youā€™re perfect on the ball and off the ball like Barca or Bayern.

Maybe she is lesbian and they have a mutual agreement.

Initially read it as Pierre. Maybe he got confused too when she contacted him and now heā€™s just dating her cos it would be too awkward to break up now.

Not to defend him, but his last two cameos have been quite good. Maybe he is just an impact sub.

Maybe right wing back is just the position for him.
No onus to create as much as a winger and no onus to defend as much as a fullback.
